Vero Beach, Florida is on the east coast of Florida adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean and about 8 miles east of I-95 on State Road 60. It’s ninety minutes north of West Palm Beach and 15 miles north of Fort Pierce.  

Vero Beach consists of three distinct areas:

Barrier Island:

This area is located on the barrier island across the Intracoastal Waterway from the mainland. It is comprised of some of the most expensive real estate and and upscale resort properties. A walkable “downtown” area is located on Ocean Drive and Cardinal where you’ll find adorable shops and delectable dining. 

Mainland:

The original “Downtown Vero” located inland is concentrated around the intersection of US-1 and State Road 60.  This area features manu older homes and businesses and commerical buildings.

West:

West of Downtown, all the way out to I-95 is a more recently built commercial area that includes many strip malls, a large regional mall and a factory outlet.
